Life just keeps getting better

So yes been awhile since I last blogged, but I believe thats the way it will always be, life is ubber busy, and its great!

So much going on, starting with the most important….  Mike proposed saturday night!  It was beyond perfect, exactly the way I pictured it.  Now most women out there probably have this big elaborate night planned in their head for them to be asked that one important question, I however have never been a normal girl, nor have I ever had the fancy wedding dreams.  I came home from a looooong exhausting day at work, my son fast asleep in his bed, my soon to be step-daughter staying the night with her Nana, and my better half sitting on the couch waiting for me to get home.  I couldnt wait to give him a kiss hello and jump in the shower.  Sitting on the couch, feeling cleaner and with a towel in my head, mike walks over and gets down on one knee, and begins telling me how much he loves, how much he loves the family we have been building together, and a lot of other sweet things I want to stay right there in that moment for just me, and he pulls the box out and asks me to marry him.  A perfect moment, in the most perfect setting, I’m wearing the perfect outfit, towel in head and all, because its us, not a whimiscal fantasy staged for just that moment, it was real, in the rawest form of our life, and the ring BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!  Happy is an understatement for how I feel.

Wedding date, nothing set in stone, few ideas up in the air at the moment

So life still busy busy in the facello household, adding a wedding to plan to it.  Love it!  The kids, well never a dull moment with them!  Brittany is growing into a beautiful young lady, doing great in school, and thinking about letting her start going to dance school, we will see.  Nolan, well at the moment he isnt feeling to well hes laying beside me watching cartoons, he had a very rough night.  Still tryin to potty train, so frustrating!  Times I just dont know what to do, he is sooo stubborn!  He gets it but he doesnt want to take the time to stop and go.  So I’m hopeing before the yr is up we have this potting training thing down cause I really want to have him out of pullups before hes 4.  Everyone keeps tellin me to just stick with it that eventually it will just click for him.  So I’m waiting impatiently for him to click.  And the pacifier, if you’ve never been a mother, then u have no clue how hard it is to break ur childs heart and take something away from him that he loves so dear, and I’ve not been able to do this  yet.  Def one of the hardest things I’ve had to do, and right now I dont care what the world deems the right age to take away the pacifier, I will do it when I believe its the right time for my child.

And speaking of which, I took him to the doc about a mth ago, and they put him on a NO SUGAR diet, because they believe he is add, and I am not going to put him on meds, not unless I have to, and if he starts to school and cant concentrate then we will talk about medications, untill then no sugar, no caffiene.  And it truely as made a world of difference, he still as his moments of wildness but no where near like they were.  Not that he doesnt get a sugary treat here in there hes 3 for cryin out loud!

Anyways, me and mike also joined a gym, yes a gym.  I enjoy it, really wanna lose this weight, we get unlimited gym use, unlimited sauna use, and unlimited tanning bed for a yr, for both of us for 110 a mth.  I need to get a lil more serious tho, exspecially since now I need to fit into a wedding dress

We are also waiting to hear back about a house, we should know something for definate tomorrow so keep ur fingers crossed for us.  We all really like it, needs a lil tender love and care but wuld a great starter home, the kids love it, its got a huge yard!  Its so homey, so we will see.

Life is good, its freakin great actually!  So much more I could tell, but it will have to wait untill the next the blog, untill then…..

A sad relization

So as the days pass by I have noticed my clothes aren’t quite fitting like they should…. Hrm what could have happen to my clothes cause surely it must be my clothes doing something shrinking in the dryer oh wait I don’t dry my jeans????  So clearly I have gained weight, and I don’t think its a small amount, I feel so completely uncomfortable with myself.  So I have GOT to do something about this.  But dieting is so incredible hard, especially in this household and its only cause we eat lots of pasta, we love it here and lots of potatoes again another love.  I don’t want to stop eating the things I love but I’ve got to find away to portion it out or something.  So any dieting ideas?  I need to lose weight of course in my stomach and my arms and my face, those are key places and I would like to shape up my legs.  So if anyone as the GREAT dieting secret please share it with me or even some dieting tips, I welcome ALL the help I can get!  So I think I am going to buy a scale and really get serious maybe even blog my weight lose maybe sharing it publicly will help me want to succeed.  I don’t want to be stick thin but I want to look good in my clothes, and yes feel good about myself when I’m naked ( And if ur smart u get where I’m going with the naked thing)  So my fellow blog friends I shall return to check what ideas u leave me and once I have  scale I believe I will start posting my dieting on here.

Know it wasn’t a exciting post but its the weight on my shoulders at the moment No pun intended

And so the books control my life…

I’m sure at least 90% of you have ready the twilight books.  And I am also sure that you loved them.  I know I sure did.  I loved turning each page to see what would happen next.  So if you read the twilight books and you also love anything vampiric (if thats even a word) then you have read nothing yet till you read the Sookie Stackhouse books.

So far there are 9 of them, and ppl you thought bella and edwards life were interesting, far from it compared to Sookie Stackhouses life!  Oh the drama, the terror, the love, the thrills, and where Stephanie Meyer left you hanging, the sex.  Now its not a dirty book, by anymeans, but it is interesting to say the least!  And the vampires are well so much more well hotter and daring and evil and sweet.  And the best part is there is so much more then just the vampires!  I cant put them down, I dont want to stop reading them and the fact that I only have four left really makes me sad   Since I know it wont take me long then next week to have them finished.  So read them believe me you will thank me and forever be indebt to me.  (evil laugh inserted here)

So once I have these finished I am moving on to the Odd Thomas books by Dean Koontz, I dont know what I am in for, but Mike says they are great books and the lil thing on the back of the book that tells you about them sound very interesting,  just like many of his books do so there are a few of them I plan to get too.  But there are four of the odd thomas books and those are next on the reading list.

After that I am starting the kim harrison books, all Iknow about them is its about whichs and vampires and well the covers look interesting they sound interesting as well.  I have no clue how many they are but well their next.

And after those I am gonna finish the Ann Rice books, The vampire chronicals.  And right off the top of my head I cant remeber how many there are of those either.

So I have a very nice line up for reading and I plan to add many more to that list.  I think I am gonna type me up a list of Books to read in order so I can check em off.  Ya I’m dorky like that.

WeeKend N k-ville

So I am not sure how in the world I am sitting up typeing at the moment, after the exhausting weekend we have had.  But it was a wonderful time, and it always is!

So friday we headed out to my parents, to celebrate my lil brothers bday, which actually isnt till next weekend, so once we got there did nothing exciting that night relaxed, hugs and kisses, you know all the family things you do when u havnt seen each other in a lil while.

Got up saturday morning and got into party mode!  We had hot dogs and chilli at the house, and got ready and headed out to pick up the cake at Maggie Moos.  Jacob had his party at a gun range which was a awesome idea.  We got to Gunnys and they had a party room, where we could do cake ice cream and the gifts, once we did that he sat up a screen and we had laser guns to shoot to practice targeting before we went down and shot the actual guns.  But before we get to that, jacob got some awesome gifts, but naturally we got him the best A video camera he as been saving his money for, but we found a better one so he took our camera  back and got the cash for it and added like 3o bucks to it and got a HD one, and still had money left over to buy other things, he was very very excited!  And I love the excitement in kids eyes, or well he isnt a kid anymore, but I so still love it!!!!  So after that we headed down to shot the actual guns.  We got to shot two .22 pistols and two .22 rifels, and a AK 47.  So this is the first time I have ever shot a gun, oh man once I worked up the courage to do it ,cause i’ve always been a lil afraid of guns, I LOVED it!  Oh the power u feel when u pull that trigger!  I can not wait to shot again and sooooo want my own gun now!  It was a lot of fun and the best part about that was that the adults enjoyed it just as much as the kids did.  So after that we headed home, hung around there, snacked around got the kids in the bed.  And enjoyed some hot tub time…..

So sunday, the day we are supposed to come home…..  Well didnt actually happen.  Dad and Mike worked up a plan to go fishing, once they decided to do that me, mom and the kids decided to go shopping.  Of course for us it was way more stressful, nolan was NOT in a shopping mood!!!  However the kids did rack up this trip and they seem to always do!  So once we all made it back home at 7 something, me and mike just couldnt bear to think of getting in that car and driving 3 hours home, so we decided to stay another night and get a early start in the morning….So we thought…

Monday, early start….NOT!!!!  Slept till 10, we were all in need of some sleep and well we got it.. Once we were up mom decided to fix breakfast, yum pancakes and bacon, so we ate and then packed took showers and finally got out of my moms by 12.  Once we hit lenor city which is about 2o mins out from my parents we stopped and ate at Ruby Tuesdays and then got on the interstate about 1 something.  So we are driving down the road and britt sees the Toy R Us sign, and we hear “Oh CAN WE GO TO TOY R US!?”  we say no, but then changed our minds, of course, we will take the kids there let them get a toy then get back on the road.. Ha Ha ya right.  So now we are down in west knoxville, the kids find nothing at Toys R Us, can you believe that, but right down from toys r us is a barnes and noble, NEXT STOP..  I’m a sucker for bookstores.  Went in there got brit a book and a journal, nolan was not interested he was ready to go.  So we leave there and oh theres a Target, mike and britt have never been in a target, I know crazy!  So of course we stop there!  Britt got a awesome barbie and nolan picked out a 8 car lightening mcqueen set, and I oh  yes I got all the Sookie Stackhouse books!!!!  Well the 8 that are out be getting the 9th one very soon!  READ THEM, if you liked twilight and enjoy vampires, dont miss this series!  So finally after wasteing to much time we are back on the interstate and off we go, but not before stopping at the Bass Pro Shop.  Mike got a awesome fishing pole and reel, I mean if hes gonna fish he needs equipment.  Then we left there after being in there forever and walked down to the beef jerkey outlet, and then down to the Marble Creme ice cream place and me and britt got some ice cream, and then finally finally back in the car and on the way home.  Once we hit kingsport we stop and run into walmart cause I wanted to print off some pics, but we were to late and they were already closed, Bummer, but the kids did get another toy lol!  Our kids dont get told no a lot.  And left there headed over to pals, ate and then back on our way home and at last we made it home around 10:40!  I put the kids in the tub, mike unloaded the car, got the kids out and straight to bed for them.  Which is exactly where me and mike were heading, but havnt made it there yet.  What is wrong with us?

Well we had a wonderful time, I love when we get to go visit, its my favorite place for us to go!  But I am def. glad to be home.  Even if I have a crap done of stuff to get done before May the 18th.  Woohoo back to reality!

Man, I am so in love with my life!  I couldnt ask for more…

I need to Organize!

So, my life is pretty chaotic.  It always has been, just ask anyone who knows me well.  Nothing about me is organized and i truely mean nothing.  I usely fly by the seat of my pants, and well its killing me.  Slowly draining me of any energy I may have, and what i do have is very very little.

So in which case I am soon to have a week off before I start my new job, and i am gonna put that week to some very good use, I have got to get my life organized, and everything in it.  Its stressing me out not being able to find everything I need, when I need it, so soon I am hopeing to have a much more organized word.  Its gonna be a lot of work.

On the other hand that something that i mentioned on my other blog, still know nothing, and its stressing me out.  Mike is very clam about it, which drives me nuts!  He tells me to leave it in Gods hands which undoubtly is the very best advice, it just isnt easy.  So just keep praying and pray I have some paitience!

Well I thought I had sooo much more to blog about and well if I could think right now I probably do, but I am just so freaking tired.

Baby steps to a big bright future

So a lot going on in the Facello household.  Which sometimes staying busy is a postive thing, but very tireing..

Busy day.  Up at 5:30, got ready for work, got nolan dressed, made sure britt was ready for school, then loaded up the car and headed to the bus stop.  Once britt was safely on the bus off to daycare.  Once nolan was safely dropped off there off to my 10 and a half hours of Goodwill…. ugh Looooooong day

But on the brighter side of things, I start my new job May the 18th I can not wait!  It will be at sykes, 7 to 4 monday thru friday weekends off, 9 dollars a hour, almost 3 dollars more then what I am making now and no more bullshit hours, annnnd after 6mths I get a 25 cent raise oh and I wont have to drive 45 mins everyday to get to work WHOOOHOOO!!!!!  And on top of that I am starting to sell Avon that plan of action begins tom.  So if your interested let me know!!!!  So very exciting plans in the workworld, hopeing all goes as planned!

And on top of that me and mike are attempting to make a big step, no explanation, just keep your fingers crossed for us and prayers are welcomed   We should know something tommorrow.

Thankfully I am off tomorrow.  So much to do!  Errands to run and a house that needs some emergency clean up help!!  A meeting at one, and hopefully knowing something about that something i mentioned so I am not on pins and needles anymore.  Got to get ready for the weekend.  Be heading out to K-ville for my lil bros bday.  the big 13, I cant believe my brother is going to be a teenager.  Still gotta pick up is gift, and get a packing list made!

Eggs, baskets, candy, and family

I do love easter it is def. one of my most fave holidays!  So for Easter weekend me and the fam loaded up the car and headed to k-ville, to spend the weekend with my parents and lil brother.  We always have a blast when we head up that way.  Thankfully its not a far drive.

So friday was filled with a 3 hr drive, which started off rocky due to some rain, and my freaking out over it, which mike handles well since I do know it bugs him, thankfully we drove out of it and the rest of the trip went much smoother!  We arrived starving, had pizza for lunch and was ready to begin the relaxing weekend of no work no chores, glorious.  Nolan was of course to excited for words to see his Nonnie, Papaw, Granny and Uncle.  And I love how happy Britt is to see them and it feels my heart with so much joy when I hear her call my mom Nonnie.  That evening with colored easter eggs which was fun I get just as into as the kids do, Jacob was very proud of his mario and lugi eggs, Nolan made a mess and britt hogged the pink ha ha.  Then we headed out to the hottub which becomes a swimming pool when the kids get in!  Once everyone was in and dressed, me and mom made the kids go into Jacobs room and stay there while we prepared their easter baskets.  Just a lil fyi, me and mother tend to over due holidays, and with the stuff that we bought for the kids the baskets just werent big enough!  Once we got them situated on table we covered it with a blanket.  The kids did great never tried to peek once.  Then it was off to some much wanted sleep.

Sat morn, dad and mike got up early and hit the lake for some fishing time.  Mikes first time fishing with my dad, very big deal my dad doesnt let just anyone on his boat.  Mike had a wonderful time and caught a few fish as well.  I have a feeling fishing will become a permanet part of out K-ville trips now.  The kids were beyond excited to get their easter baskets, watching them dig into their baskets is so much fun, they def. racked up!  We got them water balloons and water guns, I know what were we thinking!  After a very yummy dinner, dad and mike went out and hide the eggs.  The kids were to funny looking for them.  Poor nolan could hardly  keep his eggs in his basket.  We hid one egg with a 2 dollar bill in it, britt was the lucky finder of that egg.  Once they finished hunting for eggs, they got on their swimsuits and we filled up some water balloons and they proceeded to soak each other, once they finished that they all three jumped into the hot tub to warm up.  After all of that we layed around snacking a lil then got the kids ready for bed.  Nolan was out like a light.  We put britt and nolan a movie in and me and mike headed out to the hot tub for some nice one on one time   Poor mike could hardly keep his eyes open tho!  Once we headed in we found mom britt and jacob coloring, not going to sleep like we had planned.  We headed up stayin up way to late just talking which was one of my fave parts of the trip.  Although it made for a tough time of getting up to go to church!

Sunday morning rushing around trying to get ready for church because I chose to lay on the couch to long was not any fun.  But thankfully we made it there on time.  Church was church, nice service except for the fact that we stuck sitting in front of a vent blowing cold air, made for a cold service.  After church we went and ate at a buffet, yuck not the best choice, no ones stomach was right for a few hours, and unfortunatly we had a 3 hour drive to get to.  This dirve was a lot easier no rain all sun.  After we dropped britt off at her mothers we headed out to my granny carols to visit my aunt marg, shot the shit for awhile then headed home, nothing got unpacked, and somehow we still stayed up way to late.  We had a wonderful time tho

When your happy time sure flys by

So I know I was suppossed to start blogging a few days ago, but unfortuantly I became ill, ugh how I hate being sick!  Missed two days of work which sucked, well I mean at least I wasnt there….  I am so freaking tired, it should be againist the law to work a 10 and half hour day.  Seriously u can only hang up so many clothes.

I work at the wonderful world of goodwill.  Honestly the company as a great goal, and I like what they stand for, and the “goodwill” they are doing for those less intelligent to get out in the workworld on their own.  I worked there once before, and was miserable but that was because the manager was CRAZY, and that maybe an understatment.  I made great friends and am very happy to be working with them again.  The job I do like, I work with great ppl, but the hours suck.  I miss out on being at home because my normal shift is 11:15 to 8:15, but praying something better comes my way soon. 

Home life is crazy busy, always something that needs to be done.  But these are my favorite parts of the day down to washing dishes, just because I’m surrounded by the ppl I love so dearly.  Which is one of the reasons why i hate my hours I miss so much of what brit and nolan are doing.  Nolan for those new to my blog is my 3yr old son, and britt is my soon to be 9 yr old step daughter, both are the joy in my smile.  Then theres mike, my amazing other half.  The love he gives me, I wish every human could obtain in their life, because its simply amazing. 

So busy busy day tom.  work from 8:45 to 5:45 home to clean out the car and pack for 4 ppl of course after I catch up on the laundry.  Isnt it funny how u pack everything your family needs, but somehow u end up missing something u need, happens to me everytime usually its socks, I always seem to never pack me any socks good thing I can wear britts or mikes cause somehow they always have enough with them.  I always make a checklist when packing, why doesnt it help?  Anyways very excited for Easter weekend with be heading to knoxville to visit the parents.  3 whole wonderful days full of coloring easter eggs, hideing eaters eggs watching my kids and lil bro go thru their easter baskets, dinner together I love it! 

I have the most amazing faimly, the most amazing friends, even tho life is stressful, and tireing, I can truly say I am fufilled, I am happier then I ever thought possible.  I hope anyone reading this blogs knows this kind of bliss.

so really where does the time go?

So this is an attempt to start bloging again… I make no promies that it will happen, but its an attempt, I do get props for that right?  Ok so this is just a quick post to say hey, and that I will start blogging normally again tom. BUT the thing is I am gonna just jump right in and begin blogging where I am in life no backtracking, so if u cant piece it together or are confused well just ask i will try to undo the confusion…  Well I am off to bed another early day tom.  Hopefully I will begin maintaining this again…..
